内容提要: 讨论进入加拿大本专业工作的策略；介绍加拿大提供土木工程学位的大学和主要课程；介绍阿尔伯塔省的油砂地，工艺流程，油砂工业里主要的结构和基础类型；在项目整个过程中土木工程师的工作；最后讨论结构设计的技术问题，设计规范，设计成果，如何写计算书，节点设计，基础设计，动力基础设计，模块设计。$ R, [. J3 z0 }& B: e

Introduce Alberta’s oil sand deposits, ways of producing bitumen, process, explain type of structures for each processing steps, and why maintenance projects are always needed in oil sand companies. : o4 E6 R# i: `
Introduce project execution plan, and explain what civil/structural engineers need to do in a project, what are the engineering deliverables in different stages. ; g6 s: A$ j, O: I6 K: j2 ~- Q
At last, discuss the structural designs in heavy industry, introduce the types of structures/foundations in heavy industry, design code/specifications/, design deliverables, what should a calculation report include? Some information on detail design, foundation design, dynamic foundation design and modularization design. |
