some found jobs last year

I know somebody found job last year after they got their degree in Canada. Although there degree is not related with power system design, they have a strong backgound, working in the provincail electric power design company( Dian Li She Ji Yuan). You can check the websites of some engineering service companies, such as  Snc-Lavalin or Bantrel.

* w9 B4 c* ^. p- n1 T* b" W  oThey went to the school during IT booming period and wanted to find a IT job. When they graduated, the IT boom crashed and they went back to their previous field.
) A7 m6 [; R0 R$ x( A
' U8 c, \/ A% p, hAre there Canadian degrees helpful for them when they were looking for jobs? % k+ B! E' [2 i- x

: c% L1 c- x& R! O1 WMaybe yes, maybe no.
$ `% ^5 |+ W: e. j6 q" z( X, w$ L4 R
Are their jobs they are working now any related to their Canadian degrees?& T8 q' b3 t# g, O: V) {, [
$ Q" l( m* g0 G/ I# }
Gernally speaking, they are all called as electrical engineering. But I think there are big difference.
