some found jobs last year

I know somebody found job last year after they got their degree in Canada. Although there degree is not related with power system design, they have a strong backgound, working in the provincail electric power design company( Dian Li She Ji Yuan). You can check the websites of some engineering service companies, such as  Snc-Lavalin or Bantrel.

Why did your firends go to schools for Canadian degrees not related to their work experiences although they already have strong backgrounds from China. ' j0 t$ ^2 [4 ]% v+ V0 t5 P. B

They went to the school during IT booming period and wanted to find a IT job. When they graduated, the IT boom crashed and they went back to their previous field.
0 ]' _, }7 {. t% H: m0 T* {: x$ E0 e
Are there Canadian degrees helpful for them when they were looking for jobs? 7 ~% g4 r( G$ y: x- v9 a

7 J+ f0 m2 i' h0 E3 E  a2 z4 |) SMaybe yes, maybe no.: w  L1 X. p( l( y) p3 k7 P6 v! Q
, i) N8 Z. X# `5 _, l
Are their jobs they are working now any related to their Canadian degrees?

& v1 J6 q5 C. Z0 BGernally speaking, they are all called as electrical engineering. But I think there are big difference.
