A priest a rabbi and a monk got together for a fishing trip out on a lake. Around mid day the rabbi noticed that they were running low on bait. “I’ll be right back” he tells the others and gets out of the boat and walks across the water to shore to get more bait.

( C8 o& `1 f0 [3 }6 u“wow what devout faith he has.” The priest exclaims to the monk.

! m& m% {* ?8 }9 N! s, z9 MA short time after the rabbi returns the three men notice that the ice has melted in the cooler. “I’ll go get some more” the monk says and gets up and walks across the lake to the store and comes back with a bag of ice. Stunned by the display of faith by both men the priest decides that he should show his as well, and announces that he needs to use the restroom. The rabbi and monk agree that they could all use a pit stop and suggest that they call it a day.

9 M) O- ^, b5 }, Iwanting to show off his own faith the priest insists that he wont be but a minute and before they could stop him steps out of the boat and falls into the water.

% k5 p! h% _. q# PAt this the rabbi looks at the monk and says “I guess we should have shown him the rocks.”

这个笑话没看懂，似乎没有什可笑的地方，最后一句也不明白什么意思，跟faith有什么关系呢

终于在网上找到一篇类似的，明白了最后一句
A priest , a monk and a rabbi were out for a day of fishing. After getting into the boat they had just pulled away from the dock when the rabbi said "stop the boat I forgot the coffee". The priest who was driving the boat said "I will turn around and take you back to the dock" and the rabbi said "oh no need I will be right back".

: S6 X) |' c: X! Q9 O9 C( k  lThe rabbi quickly jumped out of the boat and ran across the water to shore and then to his car to fetch the coffee and then ran back across the water and got back in the boat.
Well the priest not wanting to be shown up by the rabbi said "oh my I forgot the sandwiches and quickly jumped out of the boat to attempt running across the water like the rabbi but instead sank quickly to the bottom of the lake.

这个笑话的意思就是，rabbi和monk都知道水里有石头可以踩着过，而priest不知道，还以为他们俩道行很高能像裘千仞一样踩着水走呢。
