your own health. Alberta Health and Wellness points out that the% B0 z9 n" Z" _4 Y6 _
influenza virus is contagious and is spread person to person via close
/ G4 m' h' Y3 c% e+ F: Q2 Y; ccontact. The virus also rests on hard surfaces such as counters and& Y. [1 u* A5 S. G* l, a+ o, r
doorknobs and can spread when people touch contaminated surfaces and
" c4 h/ r' t7 x0 i% T5 Hthen unknowingly transfer the virus to their eyes, nose or mouth.5 l2 l3 z# o ?) }
Practicing good preventive hygiene (e.g., wash your hands and cover your
* ]! E& l$ _4 ^! \/ e+ |cough) and following the self-care practices as outlined by Alberta
& a; F' P: {0 W! r t1 wHealth and Wellness will greatly assist in minimizing the chance of
