Job Duties / Responsibilities
8 H# L$ z, l. VThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
2 n3 g8 a& Z* W• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
( B' c6 v+ o! G/ A4 l• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
! Z+ Y0 ~$ c" w! t• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
3 f: X! b% n8 x6 j- P; m: h• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
% s0 P# F1 s8 P5 r5 _2 C# B• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
  {6 Z& n, b6 O% C• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
, q" F% J8 I+ ^  V( L* k• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
9 ^: w  [9 c3 W1 m" q& y4 j3 z• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
