落叶处理的几个办法－go green

秋天到了，大家院子里都有不少落叶吧，这里补充一点处理落叶的办法。
一次产生的大量落叶，最好不要一次性加到堆肥“堆”里面去（营养不平衡）。
可以把落叶铺在地里（1－3厘米），秋天耕地的时候耕到田地里面，用于改善土壤的排水性。
" S0 L0 i9 P9 X2 ~也可以把落叶覆盖在树木或其他植物的根部，在保护水土流失的同时，提供一些养分。
/ @3 W& ^+ e3 i& e% p$ f/ K把落叶堆在院子的角落，它们很快会腐烂。秋天的落叶也可以用袋子储存起来，供第二年春夏做堆肥的时候，当作高碳成分（brown）用。

哦，学习了。
* D; K7 U  X# f+ G这种做法英文叫mulch，原来只注意到它有利于保持水土和土壤温度，今天一查，果然也可以通过隔绝空气阻碍野草生长（铺得够厚）。
记得曾经有朋友讨论如何开一块新菜地，不知有没有人用这种organic mulch的方法处理过野草问题。

Is it easy to be broken down?

No, it breaks down slowly because of its high C:N.  It makes a very attractive mulch as well, so if you have a lot of it I suggest spreading it on top of autumn leaves around trees or shrubs, or at the back of the bed where weeding is a chore.

3 \% C6 g/ ]0 N, Z. QSpruce needles are another matter - because they are thicker, and have a pointy end, they can poke you as you spread your compost - wear gloves and you will be fine.

现在天气已经转冷，细菌不活跃，所以明年开春很可能没有腐熟；建议另堆一堆，明年正好跟新鲜的厨房废物、庭院废物混合堆肥。
