THE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:

This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
* V* O4 L. {! E: k9 a1 I8 s  UEligibility Criteria
All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
$ M# h3 o2 b$ t8 ^6 i! y5 X•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
4 @$ }6 v: ~  j% X" |" y•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less

" t: ?1 E/ H3 x/ i•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop

Time Commitment
2 \" j0 c5 d: z& Y( z0 r6 XThe maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
