2 C: P6 h- D7 Z2 o  T& a) jTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:

, k$ t6 b2 x/ K1 G9 WThis fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
5 o& J. I' j3 k8 H) F1 AEligibility Criteria
All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
) O" L" l. ~9 T+ K) a" q•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
' c; |, A* M6 P6 ]/ t3 f•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
/ N9 Z7 ?" _6 @6 k•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
* `, q0 J5 S7 R. K. D/ n$ I: }•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
8 _/ j8 [9 g9 Q$ W: @" Z4 C2 y. e# O8 M•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
0 n/ V7 b9 e& I+ p1 Z; q4 i6 U4 T# b/ ^•Be eligible to work in Canada
•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop
•Lack access to professional networks
•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning

. C) T% J1 b. r" @" N7 gThe maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
