This program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

You must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
5 q7 u' a4 u$ m1 e% N: i2 u• Unemployed or underemployed
' A  w+ V$ ]' \% _4 S5 u0 z* c* u• Minimum 18 years of age
$ Y8 I0 p0 u% Q! c' d• Good moral character
, k: a" F3 n* N( e! w* B' z• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
• Eligible for financial assistance, or willing to pay tuition
