The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.

/ |- R& ^) l) }( {4 jWe are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.' m) u3 g% L/ a! ]

- c, H" K' L" z, ]$ Z# x3 q/ ^Position Summary
0 o8 u( ]+ G; N5 N) d' `; p8 G6 I9 e" v. n  P
•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
% ~* J! {; ?" n" v* w•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings 7 r7 l# M; I6 Z9 J  m8 i! T6 S. o
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach / d- [/ j0 u% @' v- i" m$ h
•        Promoting TBL products and services
9 |0 x: [& Y# K•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance
4 P( o# U- R5 X8 F•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables 4 d0 d1 M- j6 o' ?# {% e- Q( a
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta 3 ^) u& H% v4 j$ J" t# J
•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry
( p& p0 u% {$ q7 g•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program
( o( B$ e3 n, K/ I* R# d•        Arranging catering for various meetings 1 U; H' N- z# F, E1 M9 |
•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office
' K2 X( g( Q$ @•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times 7 z7 R* o  g) d' [1 H2 b6 N

Education and Experience" q  P. Y4 c0 ]7 I% Q  U( S/ M

•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience
$ B6 `! A8 Q9 D+ k& ?- x$ L•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling9 }* h( q) C. O5 A) ?" b
•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.& @% t  ?; V: z+ a3 G  ]

' o4 A; Y# A! @! {9 XSkills! B5 V, N0 m; W% o6 ]

        Strong work ethic
# w, y, t3 X! o/ g        Professional, diplomatic and  self-starter
* L. v/ f) b* g" ~        Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook8 q3 L  W4 ]7 I0 R9 Z6 f. R
        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions
9 w0 i+ B' y9 E9 _/ n        Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
