Job Description:

6 D; N, G/ M8 O- TDetermine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer
3 d! F+ D# t8 s% f4 eAssemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
; a: }' l. ]3 Q' Z8 m+ yOversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
6 A) T  ~5 R3 g6 \9 v9 h' W: dInspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas

1 E( F) N* d4 LMay operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Completion of secondary school
