• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

4 l1 T4 B% g! o' [$ |# F' s• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
• Preserves materials.
3 W  ^( v9 q5 v• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
+ \- J6 j: _- e2 D1 d. ?1 E7 W7 Y0 M; `• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
* t8 m" W  T; H• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
, C& ^; \) Z; ^0 o/ w, K4 z• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
& k" Q/ C1 _/ L& t• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
: r8 m4 P# j1 w• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
0 q7 C9 G: f  c# I, j: `7 s: f• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
% ]# k) G6 W! e* d0 D• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
( n# f2 [- g5 b" R• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
) Y: `4 [6 w: \2 L. ~2 i2 o+ x• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
9 p+ s+ G" s" aresolution.
. Q  D. R+ e' B0 y' L9 }* V9 p• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
! M: ^- }8 J' `4 o; m1 \: |2 R• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
' g/ h; v$ S% C. Z$ `9 B• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
+ N- ]! s1 I7 d% P: l• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
; j. o( E9 |# j• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
/ ^2 U2 \' c# U. Q• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
/ g) C% s; M, d8 [• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
9 @. N- `+ A0 n. Z• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
/ t8 d! S7 M0 r0 q• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
: p0 ?: Q- Z" X) l• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

: W0 `: I: _2 X; a% |5 W- x• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
/ p- O- r( Z* y; y6 b0 ]• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
- `# e1 A* W- Z$ D/ d4 _# Z• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
( j& c0 v$ N  q$ O' q• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
