The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors& K d5 r, W+ W3 C- b h( T
• Answer multi line telephone system! X4 ~0 y" n3 x1 y8 G
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
Q, r; k" E# r+ X• Arrange courier services for all departments4 E4 _; E, y& O
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers% ?1 T4 h( Y: r) U
! B- \: s6 R2 B( ZAdministration
1 g8 y$ C) k1 z* W* ]) _• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency # S$ c0 x1 `' x/ [0 g
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

Qualifications:

5 ^! u0 }3 j4 J5 a• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
: e" T& k: w+ s5 N8 q& K H1 @, g% b+ r& m• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.. L* C! |- [" p. l1 i/ N
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
