6月3日周三去Magrath选了一个地,选了1个户型,被告知这是custom的house,电脑里没有价格,卖房的manager(女性)很肯定的估计是50万左右。叫我等两天,然后告诉我价格。那我说你给我hold一下吧,她却说不行。我说我去过你们公司在summer side的show home,那边都可以交$1000,然后hold 2星期,你们怎么不可以,何况你又不能给我价格。然后她同意说可以courtesy hold,如果有人马上付钱要这块地的话,她给我24小时通知。由于我6月5日要出差十天,于是她提出要我先在文件上签名,说是没有我太太的签名就不会生效,这样等价格出来可以就让我太太一个人签字就好了。我挺喜欢那块地的,而且最近房子很热,我就同意了。先签了我的名字。 f' F! 然后一直等到6月13日周六才告诉我太太要58万,我太太说和你估计的差太远了,我们要考虑一下,有可能选另外一个50万左右的房子。她说明天14日(周日)有人要来看这块地,然后我太太和我们的地产经纪人就要求她至少hold到周一。她同意了。(很奇怪的是我有一个朋友周6去看地的时候被告知我看中的地已经被卖掉了。当时他觉得肯定是我要了那块地。) $ l. k! |; r) G. A; L" l- A7 U/ d: G+ f
今天我出差回来了,给她打电话,结果她说今天早上就买掉了。我当时就怒了,和她argue了15分钟,她硬说是别人是很早以前看过的,现在愿意在马上买,在所有文件上签字,她没办法。对于以前和我们说的24小时通知也开始否认,说是有人有意向想买的话,她给我24小时通知,如果有人愿意直接签字的话,她就当场就买了。然后我要求和她的上级说话,又是互相包庇,说具体情况不了解,但是文件已经签了就没办法了。' R; I. k& b; U' i z5 Z

What kind paper did you sign? You should be able to get it back because it's not you breach the contract. plus it's not a purchase agreement, a reservation fee should be refund if you don't buy the property. 8 l$ a1 t" S- W* l2 x ! \+ i. m# C# gIf you don't have anything in writing, you said, she said, there is no legal stand to sue her. A letigation lawer is not cheap who may cost more than $1,000 to get your money back. Be careful about the fine print when you sign.
