2 R/ i' k+ J0 _$ c* w5 }Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

! e! w8 U3 ?" g9 u7 }  E4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff
3 x( j6 n" W) L0 ~# J- c8 e3 [4 r6 i$ `(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

6 P4 i+ d0 @' g: s) ~" \4 R7 bKey Responsibilities Include:
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
) t% W$ R" K( \) o3 V, R: b•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
9 L/ |6 y1 I9 r! m" H" H, m•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
7 S- C& W  t& Q/ }, V) i' ?) d•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
& n. m  C6 d: H( b) k( [  i* A•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
•        Experience with children
# z) D+ {" S2 O•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.

- n/ S- H) j$ _) c7 \( R•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

% h6 \" ]: p  n! m7 RIn addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
