4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Key Responsibilities Include:( ~/ J! o- W2 ^: a
Activity Planning and Daily Activity& z W3 Y% {0 c
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
0 w4 j2 P+ \, A* @; }9 ^& ]• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
0 t/ o6 D3 ^& |. {# W) U• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
# d% E% r) p9 x/ R2 U5 j' Z7 v E• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.5 u( d8 t9 X5 N: Z2 a; i
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
. u# @& }/ {7 _' Q! S! Y• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:: J3 v) D. W' }5 q
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
; A7 I$ N# x7 z$ T9 l• Experience with children
9 A+ B; J3 ?/ I7 D! c5 c6 K6 y• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
- I3 U+ z% W; i. L• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.( {: Z9 V+ V+ X4 Y1 v1 N3 D4 y( J% S
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.

• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check ! X' h9 A! L Z! a2 G8 O' L
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
