% R) {8 y4 X9 b' B5 P! UBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Key Responsibilities Include:
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
0 w4 j2 P+ \, A* @; }9 ^& ]•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
0 t/ o6 D3 ^& |. {# W) U•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
# d% E% r) p9 x/ R2 U5 j' Z7 v  E•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
. u# @& }/ {7 _' Q! S! Y•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
; A7 I$ N# x7 z$ T9 l•        Experience with children
9 A+ B; J3 ?/ I7 D! c5 c6 K6 y•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
- I3 U+ z% W; i. L•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
# ~# j7 j/ ~: |5 Z4 b. K. j•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
