(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

Key Responsibilities Include:1 }( e/ X. H/ x7 S4 k$ Z. @, h$ M
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
: h( f' t& E$ G% g% F2 C/ s• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
9 ]) A% m# P: x/ Y/ U• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
" x1 b5 o3 N6 x8 V- h+ l& ^( r• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
3 Z! f- Z: u- @2 L5 K4 r4 w$ D• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.* u9 _& e3 a* \) h
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
2 `3 `6 J, `5 X• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:% |6 R( x+ h) p3 j
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
. \6 h: [& g6 `• Experience with children, S5 r1 u6 p; n% \1 B0 r- l) V
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
5 S& Z+ d; m. u1 q5 Z& [6 H/ p• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.. u3 x& l% b1 \4 X& O- R
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.5 f& F% _7 |- v& W
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
o) w, N, D3 ?( u2 V4 B, w' y" f• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
& w9 b' ^% {2 I$ c8 J3 [, v• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
