(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)( l, I- X9 W: T" `
! S4 Q, I; Z4 U3 }Key Responsibilities Include
0 a& n% ^* A+ t& p4 l" u3 iActivity Planning and Daily Activity
0 A. R+ `, j8 y5 `' ~% y3 j• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.6 ~! u/ L3 k$ C# y* p1 O
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 1 V! c0 L9 H3 F2 e2 k ^
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
" j- h4 f3 J: }; q% i• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
$ u3 N! ]& E" F8 p• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
: d* ?, J' E! e; X' x& v• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.; h6 G8 Z/ m. E2 ]" i- C

The successful candidate will have:4 c/ ?4 @/ R. h& e
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
" C3 k% g" T- n W: _7 u6 f9 H- r5 O5 X• Experience with children: ?7 `2 M" z5 p1 w
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth ! q6 {& ]- n8 `
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring." f* S. Y- K( v f
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.& c+ t! [0 n' |$ h
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources' S+ E u$ L; C/ s0 o" M# O8 Q
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
* i1 F% N: N( y& |1 W9 u0 p• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
