Activity Planning and Daily Activity8 k* s, e2 V2 K8 p, u: [$ y0 A" t
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.% T% x0 h. {+ e, `) @! B
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. " E, f* D7 j" u& A9 `
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
4 Z, h, H5 P/ K) {' l7 y k• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
, D6 G- X3 M0 Q: N! f1 j• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time., ~0 L# ?* ^+ a0 E2 r% k1 V
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal./ ]/ r+ x" ^+ c% ^& f

The successful candidate will have:
8 o. x8 H$ o8 `6 j- y; _• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting. ~, _$ r5 g! F( b$ I
• Experience with children
4 a4 X; H/ N* M( ~5 |1 m• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth 4 ?# H4 z7 a0 w. B
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
3 q: U, t/ Q0 `* v, U• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.7 P) J: H2 M; C# {
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
& Y A! r" Q$ e3 h1 D3 Z( n% m• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check 4 B1 `& l* V4 B! ~; e
• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
