Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

* C# E  Q6 c. u. [) ^- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
# i& x* m2 c: k6 G# L* t- Recruit children for summer program
( k* X( |: y4 v- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
5 k) O4 G1 y. z4 }4 w; d0 @( h- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

% y( `' u" J% g/ T9 M" y. F5 x9 M- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
! X. s# P/ I* A# h  R5 I- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
' T  X* Q! }) {* O  V: F6 ~3 r- good computer skills
: }9 _1 G4 s% V3 J; O6 O* j- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
