Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
" S5 ~( m7 n4 e& w: [3 l6 W) ~/ `9 i- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
( r' t# u0 }) N- Recruit children for summer program
0 y+ [4 Q5 u; `& ^- c# Z- Provide orientation for parents
4 u) F% I9 C+ E8 S8 f* l9 X- w- Find sponsors to enhance program
% [4 Q1 r5 a$ N7 v" j- Supervise volunteer(s)
8 i# ^# @2 b& O9 K- Prepare final report for funding agency

  a' q: k- i8 o# n( r( U/ E
) d) b1 }5 W7 ?- Z9 M( }8 n- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
6 z6 {% q/ E5 o% F$ u- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset

- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
