Housing Program Worker

! d2 I0 l- Q3 n* I# }* i; \4 q To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
: e& u( F' G$ I; }7 L To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
" b0 q" ^6 H7 m% Q6 I To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
9 w3 L3 r/ i2 k) [- j; _ To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
* H7 l$ C6 W# x' N4 M* W To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
( X+ h. \$ [8 }* B% i Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
. _* H" k! l6 n Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
