Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:

- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
! v- j/ @. i+ _! E7 K4 Q  E) c- w1 T- Recruit children for summer program
) ^. s" R) ^6 f0 {, z; I; _# ]- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
4 ]4 f* g$ f! x0 W- {& O7 N9 A# f- Supervise volunteer(s)
  F3 q2 |1 Z2 i  S- Prepare final report for funding agency

# z7 N6 _$ @4 G- Y& C, }- }Qualifications:

& o" |6 C8 `  ^& v- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
! ?* J3 l7 {8 T9 g) l0 C; b- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
* E& Y2 }9 A' n- A5 B5 b1 q$ `( T6 ]- communication skills
- ]7 P/ H5 T& c5 t5 Y7 {5 d& G7 T- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
* z4 G  {- _" I1 p8 c6 z- good computer skills
& V8 a6 ?9 B' ~$ t; l. E- leadership abilities
' v( R% E. L- Y& J' s+ N0 g' t1 p- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

9 ~! R2 n9 T4 j9 R& a9 q; n- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
