The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.' j* ~' Z8 X/ q( o
+ d# S9 d4 _! qThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.+ O$ y4 l" g3 }1 M8 ?

• Human Resources Management9 p$ ~! @/ H2 Z# V6 ?3 ~6 M+ X
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
! x( ]+ C N8 `! F• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
1 J4 F% X7 \* e; R- v• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: C+ O! w4 b) L, ?4 F
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
, T7 j/ B e" {• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities$ [+ ?0 T- }( A) j0 ]

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 2 ] X0 @' c5 K, a1 v0 M; p9 }
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
7 m+ m( H9 G$ B• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required# [6 J4 J0 V" E, r- \8 |0 q
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
8 V* O- Q/ a+ A; x/ E• Review service action plans and support programs as requested* e3 j1 }" l+ r
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
% t- @+ }( Z, v9 W• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director# T% ^' t. k1 _& H

• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

5 k; ?! W+ K7 c! K' y/ l% l
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field, D4 D: X4 _; B# }9 q+ N% g
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities9 Z6 \9 J ^% x) H$ u j# D: E: k
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience+ h" [' i4 D" C9 c+ w0 V" F
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
