The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.8 D" F* D# n/ R" E! p8 ^

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

* E. E* F: _( P) t• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 5 s+ H5 E B) Y3 B
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
5 t# a" I( i) K2 a$ i% N& J• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities) Y! P z# q! _4 n: S& A
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
7 N4 v' ?; P) z' B• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities: H( ~& k l* P& m; _
! i6 w2 c" ]: y1 I6 y- m' E
Program Delivery
1 P$ |1 c9 k2 X% m& T• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
) U5 e9 ] w2 T0 [• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes5 {4 h# e# Y) C! G- G( _1 _
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
& [' n+ ^$ i; |" T• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
4 }. d4 O/ z [& s9 s, `• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

' T0 W: x( z" s, \& N• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
: I8 E3 O6 d) A• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
& T" K7 L4 t+ `% M3 \• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:
# I/ Z# j$ W$ H$ K8 _3 |4 y$ z. X9 n/ F- T
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
8 `4 |; o% ? C" f- ]( x4 x3 b• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
9 W. l, W# E. l: {$ Y• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
% p& G2 I0 R# s( E {• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
% z1 V7 v& a3 {• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population7 B9 Q7 Y3 c6 V- X8 q
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office( Q0 `, A: g" V8 g$ ~
