The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

+ Z1 R& \5 _( tThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management( T. A n. f' x; }4 j9 P4 M
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities % @) ~$ u. q; F% l0 E
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors ; W* R# N P( I% s9 ~& P* O0 y
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities- l$ f3 Q, p" P+ I
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
. m, R- j+ X8 x7 a2 ~! ^" J3 J6 ?• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities$ P$ q1 U9 n# ~% ?/ W" M5 u" d/ K

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
; v/ e/ J! x( D4 e! r• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes$ t$ C, h1 F6 i" b! e5 P6 T
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required" S) }, l) H( g9 I2 z5 e8 D
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication5 o$ e" n0 r: c: F t" N
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
+ Y/ w3 v7 I O6 j" M• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
& @8 ?. N+ }, K6 {• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program, R$ J8 B4 ^: G( D
• Implement service modification, as required! n( ]% i1 R% Q

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
9 e0 I/ |+ k. f. o' m• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review' k* G, { u' n# ~. d
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required( a( Y* k+ W# ]

Qualifications: J# I" P! @6 W
7 i% I, G6 o1 @/ [3 i; |. Q; @• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
: R" g' n1 K9 m/ S, G. \. r• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities5 E0 @6 u6 n# C
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
% s- p% s$ V3 x4 E; G2 ], g& C• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations# Z3 x. J N, z+ e# n& @- ]
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population( D; O$ ~; b# B) G) [6 ?9 G0 ]
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office' s8 z/ g, v3 K& X: u9 ^5 e4 ^
• Equivalences will be considered
