The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.$ ~4 c5 v4 w; t: o( \
5 U% d5 B( e4 bThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.# h5 M1 H- s6 F/ l# ~$ ?7 [

• Human Resources Management
" Q+ n* c: S/ [9 d. m+ e+ p, @• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities % ~2 k" R% u) w( M% {4 F* D
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors & e" @8 F" c* q P# L- [8 ?
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities3 W+ J, w9 T7 ^4 [! q
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
8 n/ n4 k' X+ \. v& o; L+ h• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

0 z$ J- x" w3 w# a- q, C8 rProgram Delivery
) G1 Q) \5 w& @3 C$ {8 K• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program * @9 I, v4 z0 }, U2 ~' ]
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
3 ?% E9 h2 z/ q6 @, Q3 n• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
$ N, U s8 W) H4 T/ Q• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
# H/ _1 ]* x, e• Review service action plans and support programs as requested

• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program7 @+ I4 h. w+ q& g. T
• Implement service modification, as required

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director- G% \$ S+ J. G# f3 w4 P
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

6 W& o6 a. a" vQualifications:
( X+ Z3 C* M3 v0 i/ w, C: f4 g3 Q' Y) I0 N4 Q) V; {5 F4 a! H
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field2 e/ v% {2 h( c2 C* N
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
1 R4 L. f) Q- \' V& i: C$ z# r• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
: E) n1 Q) @1 S7 H- I• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
5 E" `% B8 f5 s) D2 m' K( S• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
% {$ m# x7 N; O- v2 }• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
