FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
" L6 b$ e2 O5 R: b/ s' Q Z temerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video , Q$ u2 H* \; @. K
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
: T, [, u' q' |8 x% i$ nresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
1 K1 V+ A- Y s; t- {' q+ K* D! ascreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
# j [4 ~" e+ n0 K6 mFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
8 G" v! B$ Q* O# R, {0 [well as the script, magazine and book library. ' i2 i( w' e: R( b* p2 w7 U

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 1 }9 h7 u a# Y# F8 e
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
8 P2 q# r& V' X- Implement a catalogue template for future use 5 ]! E5 j, p. m$ v8 Z
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 7 r0 J9 S+ ]3 X$ [7 z
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have:

: e$ a' A3 ]) B' O3 q( h- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
