support the production and exhibition of film, video and media artists from Northern

FAVA serves members with diverse backgrounds and levels of experience, ranging from
8 x3 f6 f2 H9 a$ c! a* [2 Pemerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video 8 h3 b9 B1 a' @' G$ _
and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a 9 ^- X* U F9 K! q
resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and
' Q* `' _# T+ r# Escreenings; and fosters and develops a dynamic media arts community in Northern

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 0 g- [4 Q1 \( j. P. J2 e* P7 s
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
4 q& @- i$ E0 H r0 ^5 u+ \ w3 O: wwell as the script, magazine and book library.

Duties:
3 t5 z/ A% q8 x" ]$ G/ Z- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
& M D/ W7 K4 K% R; a- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
2 O6 v2 g! _: @: c, h- Implement a catalogue template for future use 7 A9 ]+ p% a1 s5 g
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure * \, [6 e& Y) ^: s
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Experience or training in library sciences preferred
