whose mandate is to support the production and exhibition of film, video and media

1 B3 ?1 c" r; ?and media art. FAVA offers: a variety of workshops for artistic and skill development; is a
7 I6 k0 M2 o3 X9 Q. X0 k9 X& _4 mresource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

) U* v8 N' e ~% \Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
4 N5 x2 m1 s( L9 J. Vassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department. 9 P: y) ]6 j, ?4 N+ p* e c% a. X
6 P- H6 L# h2 ]Duties: 6 b8 l9 h4 }: I
- Assist with research on acquisition grants * s8 P, F% H B3 ~/ B' V9 u
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
, x. q- k8 W+ D, o- Assist with equipment maintenance
. T4 B& _; O" s5 z. v- ]- Assist with production logistics for programming events & `' X' I5 I. ^/ f" s" i
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
, I: @4 t: J; Z+ X4 S) Y- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-

- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts
F: r, D! i5 U! I6 C- Advance skills in technical aspects of film and video equipment
3 i* o& K5 K+ I& f- Advance organizational and research skills : O% l! w- F9 ], n4 b
- Advance skills of current trends in technology i.e. HD
