CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
) u! T% Y* y2 v$ p$ s' `Activities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and

" [) o9 w: o% x. ]spring at Miette Hot Springs.
We will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA

5 `* p5 i7 L# T: J% ?- iWe'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.

responsible for your own meals during this trip. Please refer to the

-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per

. g) g: ]3 P6 J& \! d$ d; w; G-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about
$6 per
person. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,
8 y& d2 W: [( P3 ?2 r3 L& C- a9 BI can work on a group price for us. So sign up for this activity. If
% y# \5 S  ?0 a2 p) ayou are
not going, you could also have a little visit in Jasper town while
other
people go to the hot spring.)

; y) B$ j/ X7 T- h6 V/ g-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the
morning .
And we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round

$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done
this
before, I strongly recommend you to do so.
; ], I$ k  [, T1 v2 c: I-        Stays the night in Jasper and no activities in day 2's evening so
that you
could visit the town by yourself, or go to the bar and have a drink or
so.

Day Three
-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented
van on
% n! D' t0 P5 F4 O) e  ctime.

- A8 M  _$ s" I$ t0 y; r-        Travel needs.
-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
6 Y8 p( H2 D& d-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
+ D  @9 J2 _  U$ c-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain

) H0 p% ~) [  alate May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes
and
shoes are definitely needed.
-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course
# I: F! o( t+ n  Mdrving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).
: P% l5 n6 `6 m* P2 v-       We won't take care of the food for you, but we'll stop at
places where
! q' Z# R; z- {7 Y" U% E7 t( |there are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to
: z7 p2 D5 Y/ p7 ~0 I+ t9 Heat.
Feel free to bring your own food. (Like instant noodles.) (There is an
IGA in
4 n1 f' X+ t7 b* X1 |Jasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)

Cost: $160, this price includes your share of car rentals, gas,

accommodation in jasper, and national park entrance tickets, and it

Maligne Boat Cruises are $35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12 years
old).

( {& a9 x0 u- y; G4 b* pextra money to you. According to the Trip we organized to Banff in last
