The remains of a man reported missing in early March were found in a wooded area near a golf course in the city's northwest yesterday afternoon.+ S% p- b2 c# U2 x! `
# y. U ]" T; t8 f! ^6 G% DPolice said the remains, discovered near 137 Avenue and 170 Street, have been identified as 54-year-old Robert Stauffer. His death is not considered suspicious. ; c" r4 v/ P4 ~; J$ d2 \% k9 ]3 u& p9 U
Stauffer had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 24 after he attended a medical appointment. As this was not the first time he lost contact with his family, they did not report him missing until March 6.& y4 E0 R0 n Z% v$ v
