Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

8 @, Z! N* U/ T' D' dKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
# t  f0 l/ J/ A  r( F To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
  k. u* U5 ^4 Y To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
4 q# N0 ^6 d9 g To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

0 h. n  z7 N+ m! `Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
- S) Y0 w/ t: V. M, r+ P 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
; R9 o; P0 M! e5 D' i5 K- I1 c Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
# K! j/ p' _/ f9 x- L% C; z0 b Current CPR and First Aid certifications
6 l5 {0 g- M- e6 F Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
