Housing Program Worker

! V+ G1 E, M  i- @% ?( c# GKey Responsibilities:
8 F, P. Z* o2 ?5 c9 D% R3 [ To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
' \: ~; O9 F2 } To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
: }. o, _/ C. t9 L- O To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
+ t5 x' N3 h" k' d5 s+ y7 w To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
: \! e& P9 j5 L3 R' U To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
$ p+ Q/ k: D& S; D8 z To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

; ]% e% C8 x+ I4 F; s. ^Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
: ?" L2 O- M: ? 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
2 p3 J- A! e: [) @  u Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
' k  R+ G$ _: ^ Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
( R  v- K& }4 ^& J) o- d Current CPR and First Aid certifications
) W' O  x7 y+ ]3 x0 k, {4 W0 e Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
