Housing Program Worker

/ {  b9 n0 X& RKey Responsibilities:
. Y0 K2 q/ o; a% E, b To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
# k4 i8 q) M7 ?. P! d To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
; U, A6 @2 \$ `! _ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
1 g! I5 a) R: ^ To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.
$ e6 m5 q1 Z  B& B" M5 L( r* p
Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
1 b; D7 r8 r' s3 K' l8 M Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
5 G$ |" d7 k* E Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
, s8 K+ f' H2 R! w Current CPR and First Aid certifications
) A/ J* x% l5 H) Z9 b Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance

) q& Z! A4 N" WResponsible to:
