Job Description
2 E, G7 h( K6 xSummer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
3 P( Z0 B! [8 [6 p$ R: I* V- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
1 s" J6 H- H- d$ `  K! A; ~5 E% v- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
$ K2 b$ O* m0 c- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
0 G" I' B& D. x4 R1 L- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
