; F  U$ i8 P1 l8 ]! ^( R, I- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
3 `% l% h2 f  c2 `# ^- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- v8 m5 X1 t& u  J* w- Supervise volunteer(s)
, K  m5 C, d4 F: C4 s9 M# r- Prepare final report for funding agency
* y" g* k0 x: f/ n8 m6 O
$ N9 X; d% r4 ^, ~/ K$ M1 lQualifications:
' u: u2 H% w9 E. T: m7 ~6 M
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
/ ]8 z4 j7 Q: }: b' c- @- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
. U' B% v) Y$ Q% V- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
8 ?$ `; k5 S6 A/ H! ?) m7 I" v; S! H; Z- good computer skills
% A* V! x# ?- l( |7 q+ \* O- leadership abilities
/ x+ N& @* ^& t, ~( r; n* ^# C- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
