Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
6 v; I8 g$ b: A7 z. M9 m/ x+ h3 o- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
* n* D! h3 |  M' O1 Y$ j- @+ U- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
& Y% q3 W% q' J- Supervise volunteer(s)
( n/ u- G. }" u" Z% s9 r- Prepare final report for funding agency

! `6 O; Y# f/ v- BQualifications:
. L" M+ @0 e/ g  K/ p1 E
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
! J6 k! ?( u- j- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
" o- Y% |8 e) K, t- leadership abilities
2 X0 d, m& l* ?4 K0 T5 `5 \- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
