9 s; b2 r8 ^7 Q( UResponsibilities:
0 n3 u9 E5 V3 B- Organize focus group(s)
9 c0 u" F2 N8 X8 p9 k- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
) B$ h! B. y* R7 b) _- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

4 t: ~$ |+ y5 O  C6 xQualifications:

' R2 @8 w; W) d+ D1 N- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
9 B" K. l9 V# c5 C* @: o: [- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
2 T; J! b, o! A- b' B- good computer skills
' B+ @8 L; w+ V$ x* L$ h2 ]- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
