Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to . i3 u' `% d+ \$ m( d Z
provide services for Chinese community3 h3 x# q* T# P4 ?" h
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ( D2 |3 p% f% u% ]# p! M
access to mainstream services9 } Q- x2 |* i
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
0 O/ M2 y& |: _, j* _( [5 r social services# z: C9 z Q+ Y& b$ ^
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
6 `0 e. `) s! ]3 S" Q- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

experience and education
+ V W+ P' D( r/ H1 p- good oral and written Chinese and English skills6 F, b( @" l( x3 q' S
- experience in community work and immigrant services
' }- P1 _- I$ e1 C) w! C- experience in website update/design W( G7 \& O) L5 @) Q9 v
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
