Responsibilities:
* y3 ^1 c( D# |-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
6 k! k8 \# _8 n4 }. E6 Z        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
% R2 R3 z- r- }9 ]0 j, f3 V5 |-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

( X( l% f8 j9 _4 l" S7 ^Qualifications:
- H( ?: d& v' a8 z-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
) k! [" ^7 l3 z! K& {        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
. _: W& f/ H% w, }6 ]-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
# S& r/ c/ U2 k2 b-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
1 O% `5 m" b$ d3 H8 c! b5 H-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
6 i% |3 [2 E0 @, b-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
) t9 s# x" _9 Q+ ^3 M3 g$ ~-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
2 t9 [1 `5 r1 x% V; S. I! u        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
) r! I3 F0 n1 z  A5 @. w/ ?-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

-        $14.00 per hour
