Responsibilities:
-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
: X) }: R: |) c9 f# _  b) Z5 ~+ p        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
. [2 K0 O+ y; K7 D/ t. x! B-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

: ]" V6 J; y  U/ }. A* s; |Qualifications:
/ L/ |) h7 O1 }3 w( v: ?- N9 H-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
0 C0 ?! p$ ?6 }/ _8 G-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
8 R8 b0 l4 ^& C+ M-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
# i  u5 x0 P, ^: ?3 |4 w1 C6 \4 B-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ {* h" D; \/ _! J* t& a: I-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
" a" ]2 [9 ?8 @2 v: W+ S-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
) z9 O4 ^! F" W( a        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
