Responsibilities:' F, C) {& m; V# A7 o8 C
- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
* U( |% P# D+ e) P j" P# f preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps d- B& o( W& v7 \" C, w' }7 R" d
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program3 G+ Q7 F2 d! ?+ Z+ b; Z- ?! V8 z
- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies2 z0 _ R+ v; V- D7 _6 E* a4 ^9 O( O
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program

- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager/ }! }: I% ~8 @8 p/ F5 v U3 G

Qualifications:8 v! J8 @7 W1 h7 G v7 i* D
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood / r6 X |9 v" K' \
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
: H8 H. g. |- J$ A$ F6 V# t/ K; ~( _- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children; ?( O% ^9 I* m5 O* `
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills# A' W6 u# j( \3 ~$ F" E
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities j1 x5 ~. {9 p
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
+ [- ]$ B' c) w" e/ Z! x4 C) g- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
) |$ d$ @+ o5 P- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
, F1 g8 ]+ ^* d2 H- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
! K9 z( Y2 F# s) m. Z$ O and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)% h! d7 N: t8 _( q& a7 R
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
