-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
) l* r! O2 @+ M- u+ _2 ~+ s1 N       (ages 6 to 15)
-        Recruit children for summer programs
, k: Y* i. s3 h1 _  A8 N4 W-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
4 t# {* B. M8 G% `- o7 _# C' M-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
+ Z8 a# J8 b, b! ^) I( c% w. T$ v-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

' [2 E  y; X- H- ^Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
1 `9 B: r6 I  f, n! Q/ z-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
9 L3 h" e  @: M' s+ W* k- c- V-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
6 Y: Y- P5 G; ~" O6 A7 [-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
  C# }1 ?* F5 {/ `  j-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

: E& S$ s' O. F: IOther Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $15 per hour
