Summer Job Opportunity for Children’s Summer Program Coordinator, 2009 x$ i1 Y( x: c; Z

- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program / _% k/ M4 V. R- N* n5 A4 C
(ages 6 to 15)
" D& V7 j% ^) ^. [ l: z+ g, Z' b- Recruit children for summer programs- s) Z4 N) h6 U
- Recruit volunteers for summer programs

- Provide orientation for parents
5 F& T: M+ {# ~$ ~6 F- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency1 o, I; {: ?( u7 k
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager' R- m- `" A( ?5 G. \

Qualifications:
9 S- [& h7 f9 S3 o9 T! P8 T- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education \" k* K' ]5 L- w) Z
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
3 s% @0 N, V$ ^% | S9 y- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
, t5 D+ U7 o) K% ?0 c. E, X+ v- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities, c! Z( w& _8 w( e
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
/ ~, S. E8 c( i- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
! O: t8 ?, h# Y& Y) J- T: o5 u- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning) 8 ^' d" S/ z9 i+ X3 m, W9 O
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)+ C, _. l1 A0 h. d* G G- l" e
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
