Responsibilities:
# Z! }7 a* O* `: P6 B- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
+ y" {1 F( h9 N3 {& d (ages 6 to 15)
4 d; c. ]; [- ^ y" H" m- C- Recruit children for summer programs, ~. {( N% `8 a& X3 j' n% m
- Recruit volunteers for summer programs: ]) y6 D% i0 A7 x, S* l9 x: A- M+ X
- Record keeping
7 k8 h4 @/ D; L0 r* |$ h- Provide orientation for parents
; f O2 _8 S7 v+ C6 \6 Y5 t- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency; R8 I7 [0 ^; A' a9 ?8 a
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager. r' e- U( U' j& N

Qualifications:+ }% t+ l" N7 R' l
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education0 r7 t1 h$ `1 y5 v
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
7 s2 }, Z! D; Y5 u" ?4 @9 n2 {- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
& b9 G# N8 U, G+ G+ A4 o: O- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
. ^) e. f) I3 r# _ Y1 ]- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese

- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

Other Information:
. J, p2 }' t/ m, ~: q- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)
/ A3 ]* o$ d; z2 D4 r4 x and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
