Summer Job Opportunity for Children’s Summer Program Coordinator, 2009

- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
+ D5 M2 w9 @: S7 {3 G# R (ages 6 to 15) " i; W5 B. v3 ]: I* ?3 S _. q2 H+ U
- Recruit children for summer programs
, @% L) i, Z5 C" s& Z- Recruit volunteers for summer programs7 l8 ^) h2 F- p
- Record keeping% O8 t8 S$ Z1 u; R+ M
- Provide orientation for parents- J7 a& k7 O6 ?5 ?% k. v/ n
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency9 r/ b0 F) ^' U. ~0 ?! Q: I
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education- q1 L5 i$ d7 g; G3 g' ?. u, h
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
, t) Z f8 D0 @1 h8 C+ T- D- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills1 k2 M% _/ e$ l1 f6 C& e
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities5 e8 M$ D) @4 P ?( `- k5 v
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese

and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)+ I1 Z3 s/ ?4 t w4 G$ }6 \ v0 b
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
