怎样才能得到lay off 信？

打工生涯

有份临时工作，只有7周，不知道能不能给lay off信？可以问雇主这个问题吗？
/ V7 N5 h4 l! f! M- \8 U9 V8 d3 a  t! T还有个问题想请教诸位，如果领完EI后，还能申请funding读书吗？

7 week is not long enough to apply EI.
; m2 K  d/ g5 E0 d6 F% b( hYou can check service Canada: different province has different requirement on work hours to apply for EI. In Alberta, I think the shortest working hour is 420 hours to apply EI. The standard time is 900 hours.
