; _7 F% p" B* S5 z9 a oAbstract: Mill Woods Family Resource Centre Society offers a long-term Home Visitation Program that provides weekly in-home support to families with children under the age of 5 and those with pre-natal needs. The Coordinator will be responsible for: day to day operation of program; supervision of 4 Family Home Visitors; and provision of some frontline service.

7 [/ {. P% Y: E# |& J/ z, ]Desired education, experience/skills: a minimum of a 4 year degree in a related human services field; administrative & supervisory experience/working in partnership with colleagues & other service providers; 3 years experience working with families/children, including those who are marginalized and/or culturally diverse; solid knowledge of child development and family dynamics; knowledge in maternal and infant health and knowledge in prevention of child abuse and neglect.

+ [# M: d# [1 H" \7 A9 aIn addition: experience providing support to families in their homes is desired; familiar with community resources to facilitate appropriate referrals; Team player; computer literate; proficient verbal/written English; experience parenting own children an asset.
