Duties
! t' h7 x+ X( H* ^' ?0 x$ C
    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
  \4 O" t; P/ u3 u0 E2 u$ I0 F    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
- M; K5 s7 x4 N2 W    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred
    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
% j4 V* S/ V# l& S+ Z) v% k本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

( T! \% {5 m: p, _! w  Q/ k
好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

1 c# o' x) x% b  a& SSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

- g( @; J9 P2 q" i% C& d7 P3 D2 N  W- nti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
