Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

  E2 h! u; r1 _/ ^- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
, b: c* `+ K( D) W) k- Provide orientation for parents
" `+ V3 A1 h4 ~* B" J# E- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
5 X0 n' O( L1 C( [; k1 d* m. C6 J3 n5 Q- Prepare final report for funding agency

+ x7 I  F( l$ U1 P4 bQualifications:
1 v. F1 f  f0 G5 A
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
* j% e! C  d9 b- communication skills
# k% K, A# s5 _: X- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
) Z% t( @& J1 {! _* s: M; X- ^- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
2 {) C3 T; X; h3 @3 Z' M* h- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
