Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
2 Y; [$ T+ M6 {% W  K- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
# f  S3 f4 l! B- Supervise volunteer(s)
6 {. r. X8 i$ F2 T& `; Q- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

  ~1 |' B; e& {8 m6 _& R$ N: |- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ S, v6 S5 z$ \- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
$ O. b! I: \$ |6 s( y2 q6 [' a  r- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
; T/ d! t8 Q+ ~* q- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
* n8 n5 C* b- Y% M7 |* H  p- good computer skills
* n: \6 }( R; \2 s- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
