A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1)

& V( k% ?" B* J+ U& A0 D' m, g• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care8 p( q) \" M# Y: k( j% Y) @
• Components to improve communication skills
: @. ~6 W$ ~6 o/ f! W8 [& ^• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
- s& a) e g. I, U: f, gof Canada
# i6 ?# t; e, R2 o# J• have a Social Insurance Number/ G# \0 T7 J* L& c
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
- T5 U% i3 D. ~" j) t• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent

• be unemployed or underemployed.
