# ^3 K0 C0 f* _3 C) ^- v) FAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. + N5 e, E( L2 P$ ~; \6 \
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:' Y v* o8 a. B+ f2 M) C. t5 k; H
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. 2 ?- c# X; E+ Z
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
' p$ v M4 c3 w2 N1 jPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
, O6 y. k5 \8 QAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
: Y" N% b$ n9 }! X9 i0 nSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
& B1 M# y! ~ }6 k& oAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
$ l% z/ {4 S4 s- BAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
$ o6 `& \% I* f) KSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
. d( ?6 S) y% Y4 r3 y9 I* s0 EResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. # l1 U6 c/ y, e/ R4 z% ^
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset$ g1 p) }6 i, v1 E9 E" W. d/ W
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.' A( n, C8 `( D+ t$ i
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
H; e. M6 R+ g' n• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.7 `9 J4 _9 T4 _* j$ e
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
