Business Analyst (.Net Application Development)

9 j3 B3 n" n. g7 G0 ZAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
( h5 @7 l3 f2 [4 A8 _: ~9 m7 rAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:! b6 ^$ S, r5 p b
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. " n% n/ P) Z) ]1 P5 f, H) g. Y
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. 2 ?- y& A. R/ o) K4 R3 G" A! c
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
f- {! L: O+ rAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
. K1 _: X/ ~ H; h3 P8 FSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. ( c) ?% `2 D, G& @
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
0 p9 Z t B2 b4 nAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
& r5 T6 L/ O6 p5 @# s. H( h; W6 RSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
2 h; m) o3 `3 q7 N. WResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. 9 w7 ]0 {) V4 D4 R% s; x
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset2 H$ Q$ E$ [! B3 n* S+ w
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered." H3 K7 W6 Q" E
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.+ W9 [( e2 b1 h/ c# E# `) [
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
