As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. + N3 F, u) A% q4 D+ C' O; _
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:5 U" ]" P% D, ?( S0 E5 f) o
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
; ^2 r" C' k4 K$ v5 qCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
7 o) O) v& I& j& BPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. / u+ b8 Q- p: |* v
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. . C- u# C. ~$ W. P
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. ; B2 j0 U" n; P0 u: X. a; J3 X
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. M& X; E7 Q9 r9 D5 S
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
( E" J3 d: O2 A& HSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. ! r5 }4 Y) N) X) E# J
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. {' A) h. Q8 [6 R1 W* u
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
/ h5 X6 i, U0 c2 m• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.# R/ _: D# s4 ^7 x1 X! N
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.7 K& w% [& N% ?; p
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
