As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
/ y( k' i. Q( j! N# OAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:" X2 |( M- a7 w" i3 F! p2 i
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. ! q5 ]- c3 d5 X
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
+ A4 O! U+ C9 Z( Y' Q9 GPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. 5 E7 Q/ {# {6 Q' u
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. : K0 p/ e# q, S8 n/ z2 d7 Y8 t
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. ' R8 k t0 L* }5 i
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
$ Z3 T" y& w$ a8 ~ `8 d9 {Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
9 H; s8 x) k+ E* E1 Y7 tSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. ) `* H+ ?# A% `) q. e
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
) s& G/ X+ T1 G* i, L Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset8 B* X; A2 c+ }$ e5 j
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.+ ^- s- R3 ?+ R# M4 b- M
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
