Business Analyst (.Net Application Development)

As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
' @1 z5 s& B. v( SAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
: l! j1 x$ U: x' A' a n0 `; H3 R% l! ?Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
# ^) j3 o; {8 Y) D9 hCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information. + _+ C: Y/ {# m9 k& g* d
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
' |- x) }9 F( }3 r8 y$ V4 ?2 v! I8 s( RAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. + @0 ?/ h! W, Z4 Q* `
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
5 p$ w' a0 Q9 m& C8 X- T7 A. |Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. ; N, _, U0 q) }3 ?
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
6 i7 j5 X% J2 Z9 LSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
: E+ {! Z8 Q- `' x$ mResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
& c& I# n# T3 s/ M0 \ Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset8 J8 Y& y3 C f* }9 d& H& ^
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
" T0 q( B+ ]7 r$ A# @. y1 i+ [# y• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.# E9 o1 A, P8 X: s7 V
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
