! g% E' B1 z3 B2 y7 C6 mAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. ) {' X9 }; P9 W5 K! r
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
" C" Q: |# q2 U% ]8 zConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
' l9 }, W% ]3 t. y4 u/ } eCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
- [+ d' {5 U3 a# _7 |2 IPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. 2 C5 R; r) k& O' J) L$ y
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. ( Q+ s- h0 o; D
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
' ?5 z8 A, I! I$ x- OAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
) p5 z+ q( s2 P" e; [Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. 6 Q. G& k0 I' R0 M- n5 S0 v
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. : r( [& y K3 A- D( N) |
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. / O3 q9 v' v6 P
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
$ B: F- {# }! B! h" U# w5 [6 y2 W• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
7 X- |; S9 @. m5 X0 c3 i• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
B3 Y- h8 ^3 _7 L ?5 ]) O2 g• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
