有最近在Canada Place 登陆的朋友吗？

请问一下你们从打电话预约到正式登陆要多长时间，
0 i; z9 Y. s  J' b5 {另外， 问一下登陆的时候移民官都问了什么问题？
$ c# X5 Q1 Y( A/ I最后有一个小问题，不知道有哪位经历过没有：如果预约之后等不及CIC回复，能不能直接去边境登录？

给cic打电话预约的时候，你就问他需要等多长时间，他会告诉你，理论上是2个月之内，估计是比这个时间短
到时候去回答问题也没有什么需要准备的，都是一些基本情况，除非你的情况复杂，需要解释很多 （开玩笑）
你可以选择在canada place登陆，或者是去边境，如果决定去边境那就在接到canada place 电话的时候告诉他们你不需要预约就好了

I think that you d better call cic until you have the confirmation letter

问一下最近一段时间里，从打电话给CIC预约到登陆一般都要多长时间？我打电话的时候CIC说从预约到Edmonton能给我安排时间都要三个星期（不过这个数字是edmonton方面提供的），我觉得实际上应该比这个短。不知道有没有近期登陆的或已经被安排登陆时间的xdjm告诉一下？

I have already received my PR confirmation letter, and I mailed out my passport to Buffalo yesterday. Do you think I should call Canada Place to book the landing appointment now? Do you have their phone number?

! M; h6 O7 b# U4 p0 @' s! e* N预约到登陆差不多是3个星期,canada place给你回电话预约的时候就应该差不多是3个星期以后, 如果你不是非常的着急,最好还是选择在canada place, 不然这漫天大雪的还往边境跑,不是很值得, 毕竟路上开车不是很安全

我说的confirmation letter 不是你那个要求你寄护照的那张纸, 而是等你护照寄回来的时候同时给你的一个带你照片的正式文件

现在从预约到登陆好像要两到三个星期，往后可能会更长些

I just called CIC, they said it needs to take at least one month for landing appointment...
And they asked about the expiry date on the PR visa... but unfortunately I have not received my passport back...

No. You are waiting for the call from Canada place once you called cic regarding booking an appointment

Nope, the procedure is as follows:

(1) you HAVE TO call CIC call center;
then (2) CIC call center will contact stuff in canada place;
then (3) the stuff in Canada Place will contact you.

Luckily, the landing arrangement by Canada Place is generally ahead of the estimated date from stuff working at CIC call center.

I mean, all the three steps should take place AFTER you have received your immigrant VISA (stuck to passport) and COPR (confirmation of permanent residency).
