The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
/ P; |% y( t7 ^6 X' v- ]6 M•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
+ R  Y! k* j/ o•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
( F/ I1 Z+ T2 J' r0 Y. N4 r•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

+ a6 K- D2 L" N! [Requirements:
; n$ z* q6 h% z( a" K* J9 E" f, W•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
- E1 ?4 |; X, N* R•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;

7 L- U  x& U- b' Z4 v: _& {4 R•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
