The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

! Y- |3 C9 e8 Z% A; F. }6 P We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
( K3 k; h. e! x+ _2 t7 s$ z0 E•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
' w" H  Z" H8 n. A) `% P•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

: D3 v( N2 S5 A! @# CRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
1 ~( |+ N9 m6 F- p•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
2 \7 l; {& k3 {" G. L" L$ [•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
* |4 a5 D* G% G' S$ b0 S+ |9 z1 v•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
