- m$ n- p5 V' }Job Description – Responsibilities
& K# s5 f- r. d4 _& F+ t•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
1 o+ m4 o" P- Q% I( v•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
9 E) v' D, ?& Q3 E5 {. e& F9 ?, i•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
7 U, F; x- e% v$ ?) E•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
, V  G( y% e  f/ e( n0 r•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
  @* V2 c' n% Y: [2 e: Q4 G. L# S•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
2 Y* j: O# r7 i& o# E# C•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
2 T0 F0 Y9 F5 ~8 z* X•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
