Full time position (35 hours each week)

7 e+ l% \& z& _* mJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
& D4 h# v8 `- e! u0 P' B) |" J7 u- I•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
0 y. T# Y% z2 `9 j2 ^( j9 W4 g•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
5 a$ O6 f- u9 q- n* z•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
8 O( w1 U! e( \6 t" X# \* O" L% B•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
' D# h' h7 ^5 h6 h•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
* A( Z3 g3 k9 w•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
3 D* n6 ^% [) b•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
& y( c# ~# ^/ S; ]+ Q•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
' O) Q- h, W0 N, I; l' J6 y•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
