Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
! k$ q2 r: m# u& cFull time position (35 hours each week)
( h" V% T# y- A% X+ l7 P
Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
0 |3 ~' M! j  Z; l! V+ M( q' l•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
- N* U/ W- i0 `$ X•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
3 _! l+ A0 a% O1 z! a; H: @•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
; t% ?7 t; g4 [! u•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
2 W$ e) L& z! O5 c4 r0 o* w8 {•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
" S3 A: D: t0 s/ @•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
