Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

1 d( E0 {8 G5 QJob Description – Responsibilities
, @5 L5 i( |! \3 _: j5 ?•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
3 o& V- v7 C+ l8 u6 ]$ j: H0 j•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
. k/ k# \7 S' |9 U( P•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
% h/ X2 w2 [4 Z+ [3 e: y•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues

4 i8 ^. `2 b9 u* F: Y. G' G•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

% L+ ^" X4 _" i* K. sQualifications
; K- B6 w# D8 v( {4 ^' f8 ]•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
9 G, }) q) ?7 h, Y# _8 k7 s•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
