Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

7 p5 l! [& _& Z; X6 xJob Description – Responsibilities
. y% V5 g- M; H•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
& Y. w5 k3 d5 j. u7 J* a7 S•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
, H3 P8 a& m  Z& b' o( D8 ~•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
) q$ [2 h6 c2 q! f1 g) V•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
- s" U& W1 x% D! {•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
+ D4 X" l5 P) y•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
* g5 {9 M. l6 `0 X; I  `8 s* [1 D•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 E6 ]7 J* R) x( }1 t2 @! Q•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
% `4 J; o" r. @9 G1 N' I•        willingness to learn

Other
