Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager

3 N2 D: z! a4 h/ A( r( g. [) VJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
  w2 P/ D) r& T3 m, @- _•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
: J# u7 G% J+ l# O# h# v" Q# f•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
* }2 s4 E  V) F( i8 N! m7 ^•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
% O- [8 M( E: z/ x* L' J) W•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
% y7 L/ u( F- ~+ X•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
! T& H( F, D6 `! {. ?/ b/ K2 |& }•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
3 D5 r% q8 G0 ~) L7 k•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
, J0 H3 u* p' g8 x4 a•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
