Position: Youth Services Manager
( A; Z8 w- G9 r  v' ~Full time position (35 hours each week)

1 q$ |- x5 u4 n; kJob Description – Responsibilities
( u. z& C: l6 C, B5 P•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
" i  M* }8 Y0 n7 B$ @3 ~. v5 ?•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
' O1 |- t* W+ F) E•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
9 m* p) \3 p; J7 W% a•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
$ u* E  y* ]8 V•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
1 K/ j4 ?6 E+ p& l% H  H•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
- G% @9 H+ f& e5 s•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
4 O( W' J( \! N& g8 R•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
4 X  j- h, X# J0 E! l8 H- q" z•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
. L6 X3 j+ g; Z•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
