Full time position (35 hours each week)

! |9 k4 j- y  L" }0 @Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
0 Y+ V5 \6 s  u5 T/ \) i•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
* w$ k+ g, i( x2 d- s8 j•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
  z' n& G6 ~* a3 [•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
7 e5 x6 g( }+ I8 V0 _% o- [% K•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
% ?5 m+ j3 l; i& ]4 B•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
# G0 t7 y& g1 F- p•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

- i% Q& M6 x0 j, @Qualifications
* g, l7 t- q5 d; ^3 m( b& F•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
1 p0 g, S# k# ?( L; E•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
% L0 I% E8 V7 ]+ Q/ v•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
