Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
! ?* ?. P, e4 O+ a•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
2 O( R( _* f" q+ w( x•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
8 c$ [& S5 G' [+ j& J+ }/ D& Y1 b•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
: G' G- H) E4 \/ W: O, D- ^•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
* S- |0 ?3 q. }6 X2 m' H•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
  Q1 Z8 I6 \: R5 {8 n1 p•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
, C2 i- f# v% r; I5 ~•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
" @% S4 r3 ?; I3 x( L•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
2 u; Z$ w& N# Y: |' o) l4 z: q•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
; O' z6 E7 L" p- K•        willingness to learn

Other
•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
