Meanwhile, one male is dead and another is in police custody after an altercation between two groups in an alley early Sunday morning, according to an EPS press release.( _" Z9 ^* e* z

At approximately 2:45 a.m. MT, officers spotted a vehicle being driven the wrong way on Gateway Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.1 ]) ?# E( w# U# e; G8 }/ }& ?
9 k8 b) O- H$ `6 rUpon stopping the car, the officers learned that one of the passengers, a 24-year-old male, was seriously injured.

He was taken to hospital, where he died of his injuries.& H. l, j1 i* ^

A police investigation revealed that the three male occupants of the vehicle had been involved in a physical altercation with two other males and a female near an alley south of Whyte Avenue, between Gateway Boulevard and Calgary Trail, which resulted in one male being stabbed.
