Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2, h; c7 `# K% Y! L# V, @ U5 L7 R
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
! ^. B. q& w* S8 u' w0 [• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 f& V1 X1 r, k$ V
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.0 E0 ~9 d( n) n$ M
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
) V) F4 a3 i9 m• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.* \: R. c$ |# R. `
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.- |' n, G2 q4 O6 x* s
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! h( Y$ n/ z8 @6 s! Y
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." W& \6 v5 y* \9 c8 [2 l y$ i
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
# E4 N) G8 Y$ l/ m( P: p• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.) v. L, J& h3 ?
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
' F6 \- B4 U' X* \• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 O+ g/ t( e7 B$ z7 D• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.$ ]8 y. V8 P9 q" Y% h: j
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.7 ]0 C) o1 X0 z. T8 p; a
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.3 A2 K+ N8 C& {& Z( d- r- D

Qualifications:
9 e) ?3 _5 |2 I" j6 F• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
, ?+ j2 C; Q" Q M) q5 g4 }7 v2 v• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. # P5 ~, A3 p& v, ?- O6 R
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
2 T* ]1 n$ I9 o! b• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
O, s# d2 Q; A8 Z- [• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; [9 o* q# M4 N. U
• Not scared of heights& H$ M0 q3 L- n6 _! r2 T9 ^2 Q
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other" C8 B3 T# \6 m- ^
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ) a5 D' D' x& R
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.5 L- ~: z3 G: @# r" x
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
