Major Responsibilities: - _1 {: d! i3 V- o+ R' B: f" \7 N
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., |/ }1 D3 n7 P9 D2 @
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
  W5 \1 @# T, A1 _3 z& a•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
' ^2 L3 k0 g# e" m' ?* g9 Y•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
0 c. c4 {5 ~$ y# k" t•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 S0 ~: I6 y3 P: k7 U
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.3 D* i3 V0 A# h
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.. L  U+ g8 W0 L! w2 M
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& ^) L/ `: Z4 M/ T1 D& ]3 C•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; T/ ^8 ]: d, Q- m. K' N•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.* C  v5 E! ~% c1 q8 o
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:0 N" v' M$ z/ h3 K) C, [
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. $ o2 w# M9 K# [; w1 H
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + E! @+ [4 }7 }
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. + |' G) P0 D1 w* p. E
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; m! |% ^7 U! d9 r•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
