Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant  U  R  x" ^& L" g5 M8 B
Location:        Edmonton- }$ D3 s0 V) @+ m
Reports to:        National Sales Manager- N. E* S4 u6 m

+ C* \# V9 O( G  J- q- L3 Z$ m" ^5 m' H4 o9 ^4 F; L0 f
Major Responsibilities:
( ~7 t1 ^4 t1 ^* y•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
" n8 u" `9 k  G2 H. W5 K& y•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
* @- T) }7 [$ H8 S- W5 {7 S6 e•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
- w3 `3 a1 g, x•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
* k- P/ g( s  I7 D•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
) E5 P, A/ V4 `! p: c2 q•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
+ b0 k6 r: A. {2 u; c, [•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) ]3 C1 @  w! V: _) v7 k" f
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.% E2 x- b! [* g7 f  h' T
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
! \8 T* b. e6 y$ H+ j" ^. t6 f& {% ^8 f•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 A2 m; V8 K0 _4 a# o$ Z
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
0 Z7 S9 J& Z3 `- @7 a•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
$ w% g' x+ q" b$ _3 l# y•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
& n% p( ^: ?, L•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, f) r* H" l; U" i; p•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % {, q/ X1 f, ]  G) M1 {3 s! ~8 y7 ]! Y
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. $ {( G: K: F, Z6 D  I  F. n: X9 F" x
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential$ U8 V6 P/ I8 Y
