Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

8 L: `, \6 c' I" {) JMajor Responsibilities:
  s" {+ ]' }* c•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
' a+ \) ^/ j7 n$ D- B9 T; _•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 g0 {; Q3 X* j' b! Z) {
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  + ?; G" B+ v- w  {; _2 h( W* e
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.0 L, q% b" l  P+ K
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
5 }9 C: K9 S+ e7 t' E$ Z•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
9 H' o- I  A7 q- @•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
4 E6 w9 a/ i( z6 o/ \3 j•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
" K$ h9 \/ O8 ?* Q+ E9 q•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 ~& k5 k( J8 L$ V& @& \•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
9 Z  w' ^+ k7 {•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
