Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
! `' G( c6 U: _8 J5 V1 w% u2 i•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' i+ D/ I! M. u1 ?
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# T, [( |% B) }2 a; W9 [% A•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  # w8 j1 d6 m  q$ m
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.7 U. M  `6 v' ~) ^6 P, I
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.) ]4 O, D+ N- {2 H" V
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# B) ]$ E) S+ C•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.# Q, o: D+ t7 V) f! }# W7 Q* C& J
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 u+ J* a4 |% [" G5 `+ j& d•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 5 m' t% e( k6 e% x  I5 _9 V# U  Q
