• Provide excellent customer service.1 f L9 E. A; g+ ^/ H! Y
• Maintain safe and efficient Service Department operations. Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures with assistance from HR department and Safety Officer.

 Schedule technicians.5 J& {. x/ p9 f% j D/ O
 Book upcoming inspections.

 Resolve warranty settlements, with direction from the Branch Manager.5 p0 i7 O& V, z" Q( O" H9 V
 Maintain branch profitability by achieving targets for billable hours.

• Actively monitor and support the processing of inspections and IREPS with the assistance of the Service Coordinator as required and ensure IREPs are quoted and followed up in a timely manner.
; Q O" S8 v2 _• Maintain a forward looking schedule of at least two weeks. Work with Branch Manager to resolve scheduling conflicts.8 q# W) h K7 O( j6 ?
• Visit sites as required to assess scope of work, site access and labour costs.) [7 D! z& B: x* Y, R
• Be aware of, disseminate and enforce customer-specific policies and procedures.% G5 ^% o8 A# o3 s9 _
• Review backlog on a weekly basis. Ensure outstanding work is scheduled or planned.
. U% K, G$ e/ n, [ `• Ensure completed work is invoiced daily. Assist with accounts receivable and accruals.
; @1 v( r' ]9 h' `- ^• Approve Technician timesheets. Verify that the number of hours, regular time, overtime and expenses are appropriate for the assigned scope of work. Verify job number.! i& ?% T' [: ]: g
• Ensure new technicians are properly oriented, trained and equipped.
# z2 P, M/ M+ C3 E• Conduct performance reviews of all hourly staff at least once each twelve month period.8 U, ]& i( M; y' k9 k$ P
• Perform and document regular safety audits, on branch premises and on customer sites.4 q8 L; D0 s) Q3 c8 B
• Other duties to maintain branch operations as required and/or as assigned.! ]3 k6 l2 q$ o, z, m" _

Preferred Qualifications:

8 B6 f7 ^) C& h- M• Experience in a Supervisory role.; R, X, `- {9 X8 Y6 Y
• Must have excellent leadership skills including the ability to motivate staff and be a positive influence.
2 l0 I0 f; l% y& B/ k+ c• Strong communication and organizational skills.7 G% I: g+ u1 Y( [$ p( u
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a college degree, or demonstrate corresponding experience and success to be considered.% F) v* Q7 @6 ]; I; r& U) e
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential.+ x0 D- @6 O4 V, F8 p, S
• Experience with construction contacts & tenders preferred.
