Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

0 W Z) Q5 R& {Major Responsibilities: * V5 \0 S7 E7 ]) ~8 U
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
! n. G3 o5 p3 ~2 S, s• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 Y* z8 l0 S/ v
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ' c5 a, W& @6 G1 I
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
4 m) x2 d# b+ |# _• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ |/ a" g8 i# k/ y$ J7 Y• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.+ L; ?& H; A U) v
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

: y$ x8 h6 x7 q- O• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.) Y [% s f; a% Y( P
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! Z2 U6 \, j( z% x9 l( L0 _• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
: ]% y, H: ^! g- H- N# u• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / @- {5 F. r; P3 J B6 S n1 w
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % |/ q6 u% ~+ O/ T4 ~& b
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
. e% X! y2 [( _- g• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
! z O$ P- N2 u5 }& G• Not scared of heights$ H! L/ L; m' M& T
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other, p, r6 x5 h; m" M3 k6 ~8 `
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
& M/ V& h) f8 f q! E• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.6 ? i0 b4 g* S$ |8 g
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.! _# N/ |9 @. J7 d
