Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant. D' f5 Q3 d- e

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

7 m5 R; s4 C+ q6 Q* l  B* {Major Responsibilities:
5 E0 y4 Y! S0 _9 x+ {0 [2 z•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 }3 g! p# t- g3 P, J6 f" K
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
7 Y8 f: P* A1 U2 L•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  8 C2 [& e& ~1 O. C: `: F9 j% ^
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.6 [$ d) l) H$ ~( W9 m
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( f( S* s, _5 c& Y! h8 t•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% Z5 w3 b' x: c5 ~& e/ l  i•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
$ C0 {2 M0 o  {6 l0 |  `* K•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
3 a/ v" B' q5 {•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
0 W6 E' a% N& O5 e) ~•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
5 R, e# J8 ?0 D' V1 v) e& P•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 l  y. P8 R) b% P•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
; S$ r1 [2 [' W" S8 k•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 U0 \3 R/ K, F: z
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
3 v$ C8 w5 V/ b6 R% R•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
- W0 l9 E/ a# k& @•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 V+ Z1 b9 K5 S% C  E- L& h
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
9 ^- x+ y+ a/ Q5 q3 x! x; f  d•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
( K3 c4 \/ |% C. ^) {+ L- i•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
