Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager6 G9 H, P" U/ L% x) f6 W6 j X, q
- c( f3 z$ U y9 x! O2 G

Major Responsibilities: % L% m. a$ U( o# c0 T4 @ l
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.! P' Z1 N) N; j7 O
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
& T( j b3 C" O8 p) J4 b8 d• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 2 M" X3 b0 }, \5 `& r# @( ^$ h$ N6 U5 p
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
0 V! a7 ]2 C7 y3 u• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.- N1 g! a1 p( \1 Q: T9 @7 K
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
5 U0 d: v5 l7 D* A; `; f• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
9 r) s5 \5 Z. V/ e7 z, X• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
+ ?0 b2 Q$ l9 w; t. I) E, D( _* R• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.- t, M* ^# W, i! d
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.4 J& H i( R$ ^# T8 f( m$ Z
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
2 w- Z% _, ?7 G3 g9 Z! R8 v• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.; T9 I1 r' ?) K3 {$ L7 \! Z/ z" c
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

# t0 Q2 d* }% ]2 ~• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
2 S6 S. W: {1 O- d6 n$ G( Z• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. * `/ [9 n, m$ p; l# J! Z# a; _
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
" ~/ V3 F* Q6 |5 s& C• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; [! @* n( y% w- ^' o: Z• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
) I; x2 W7 }2 j) W0 b• Not scared of heights
) ]1 l. k7 u" x9 d• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other- d- M' R5 P& d2 C" X
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
% n6 P0 a! A0 h$ Y& q" v0 h9 D• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
