Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2- m4 Z8 C+ j# N; o. t

Reports to: National Sales Manager

( L2 u& J, t4 l9 W/ W0 z/ YMajor Responsibilities:
7 m, S5 a4 f7 v0 z• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' j0 W2 u: ]" c8 P$ q5 R1 p
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.5 H. ?( Z7 B/ p
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
7 I4 _ c }3 m! x, h7 g0 J6 G Q• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office. u( l) J; _1 s, E- \( E5 z9 E
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis." O1 y+ n# y6 A3 W
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.& k8 x) M0 N+ `" s6 K8 o
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
2 O, a, b) f5 o• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.% f7 M+ c% J/ D& b
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.) u3 |9 F, U+ W9 [) W0 O$ g, e0 Y/ d
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. f1 s) p0 L# j& u, T• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 _( f, M8 a7 p5 `6 {( }0 Y3 y6 H• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
2 b+ Z; `# O* f. y7 x• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

- v! T% ^. X; W/ rQualifications:
; e7 x) m& m6 I- G5 [- l4 D& A, d• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
; T+ x, e9 W, B( J7 \• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
+ A* ^1 G1 M$ K9 e: q. Y$ T. ?! b• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ; T o+ L- _# x8 J s
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 4 v& @. A4 r* q! N; V0 j2 Y$ \* P
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
5 C: {2 Y, c0 W; }• Not scared of heights3 L9 D( g5 F& f& h) ?3 E( m4 N8 T
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other. c9 q7 w: h1 A$ M% }5 K) p
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
