    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
7 \0 T" f- u  W1 A  n    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
- J, O  `' h: b9 q+ c2 N# ], r    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
: u+ x" v3 m6 p% B# J8 y, k1 [    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
" i5 Q6 T2 Y3 T' J1 L8 q    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director

) d9 r( e, c1 |0 e3 j3 a    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
4 M& N; z. m9 h/ j    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
  I( [" h5 C6 U! ?5 o; ?$ G
    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
" C2 y& u$ @7 H2 D# D# S1 z    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
, G+ G5 d' x$ l& e" E    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
