    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
4 z4 Z+ l7 P; ?. v. W8 D6 P. k    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
3 d, J5 V' R9 {5 l7 w) D( j    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
+ W8 H8 N% x& [6 p' X  q    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
0 ?. s/ T1 ~3 F& Q0 B6 ]8 B; F( W    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
# d, k# c& s! j. ^* F    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
( N0 n' i, |0 S! o    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
6 O5 a1 x5 S5 d6 s
# U. X+ w3 A9 y& N9 [    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
+ \4 a- J1 n0 I    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
8 E6 O9 ~0 q1 Z  A* w    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
    * Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
