Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.# {# E0 k0 z$ s5 g
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.2 y1 v. c! v! n+ j
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.% e4 D& s) q9 U/ d! Y8 W
