Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is% B4 Q5 d( o4 ^' v" _: g( i
recruiting for community support workers in the
/ G0 `( e1 S Q" S8 E8 vCoordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of2 Y& U" p# z4 m( V5 O( }
locations in the city.
. c- U' Z1 p! tStaff would provide respite care to parents or primary5 E. {& u9 c1 A7 I$ c
care givers of children with moderate to severe physical. r$ {, j. |( _7 a
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three
! T, q6 c1 a8 K6 i' x1 I7 O$ ^( l(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school
* s% `, J- m9 j2 \( X; @3 ?year, as the children are in school during the day, the

evenings or on weekends.

extended hours available during weekdays while

• a minimum of six months experience in working$ N! F: m$ O# Z
with children with mental and/or physical( i( C" T ^# p, V
disabilities (this could include volunteer work)* L0 j- `, l' w5 C: V
• the ability to support the clients with all aspects B2 q* c2 `3 J% B. t
of community inclusion
& c* d# h& ]6 H2 q }2 c8 }3 T• Standard First Aide with Level C CPR
