Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
9 a8 A2 Z& R% {% C( d$ \/ U% ?. Ho Accountable for Towards A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program* ], ~/ ^5 U) ~) }! r3 Q7 d3 y0 n$ h
o Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program* ?* H1 U, v1 e/ g$ T, J- A
o Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
9 M1 N- Q5 K, f* k! H5 F9 ^: Ao Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
0 z* k9 P% N" k: j) zo Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program w* W% ]; w) ?/ {& x
o Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
, ]2 e0 i5 k! |o Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model y( K- V1 o; l5 i! @' D: T) \
o Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
" F* ]: L) Y# e6 C/ t. @* ~o Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues: J/ W9 g. \( L- i) o8 @8 l
o Be open and willing to explore new ideas
( i" e- b' @; [0 P1 {+ F4 ]" No Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications4 J3 N4 L( H, H2 j
o Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience4 q& Q& U l7 K, G- N
o Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset. E. E3 D1 s; q U* K9 w
o Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
. G) ?) ~1 O3 ao Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills" `$ l0 p; Q6 d! z3 Z% A$ Y: T
o Willingness to learn( W5 z4 J: ^) D

o Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
