Position: Youth Services Coordinator

Responsibilities
* t4 r7 [* K, r. co        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
2 X2 g% T  I+ `o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
1 |  ^5 \4 a& v$ q# p: \o        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
o        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
( I5 p' Y. \% F+ E1 b5 d" |2 X4 To        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
o        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
o        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! t6 L  r; |& P: Go        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

0 E0 y, K% b  y3 M5 u4 BQualifications
o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn

o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
