打击在油砂高速公路网300多名超速者

对63号高速公路超速问题的重复警告和打击也没有能阻止超速者。RCMP和省警局在一个周末就找到300多名超速者。
最后超速的6个人死于交通意外，事故发生在由Edmonton到Fort Mcmurray的双车道高速公路上，这条公路因为蓬勃发展的油砂工程，变得繁忙。还有10个人去年也遭到不幸。这些受害者大部分是从其他省份搬来的油砂工作的工人。
“每天在这条高速公路上跑的人还是没有得到我们的信息”—RCMP Sgt. Larry Bellows
RCMP Sgt. Larry Bellows说，这个周末一共停住了500个车，453个被开了票。
那些违反交通规则的人中，有363个，也就是80%是因为超速。省法院说今年已经有2000起超速被罚。
其中有16个是没有系安全带或小孩子没有用小孩座位的。还有2个是因为酒后驾车而被吊销驾照24小时。
这些人同时也因为没有追忆安全驾驶而被罚了钱
2007年开始，政府对这条高速进行扩建，由原来的两条道改为4条。

Highway 63, from Ft. McMurray, used by the most crazy drivers in Alberta.

They had money, they show off, they rush home, theu panic..... after the twining on the whole highway, they will be MORE DEADs on this Highway due to Speeding. The road will not make them better.
