地下室应该是允许的,上周我去市规划部问过他们.他们说可以,但依据现在的zoning by law只有街角和靠大路的房子才能做second suit.(这个规定可能要改)0 H# A$ ?& a! u3 T p4 b! W

我个人认为如果做地下室为second suit的话去申请这个 affordable housing 不合算,因为它主要是减免你的各种申请费和与市政相关的的费用,你做地下室的话这些费用是很少的.而且你的房租要比别人便宜15%,要租给政府认可的人,随时还要接受检查.具体你能减免的费用如下:
