Responsible for activities related to design, space planning, layout, and

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of
& Y0 ~2 W% o# t, c2 t) Bfurniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
5 }2 ~# D! q5 }3 u, A% p; qproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
2 B/ j K$ i" Cdrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for; B; e* E7 X9 i% Y- P: U
specification and installation.
% _8 Q$ F) F1 {. j) Q; H/ W3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning
3 j) `) W+ d. u1 w$ i( ]meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

4 t# d; b; d I+ c9 r. z4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
# u& ~) R4 c: v( K2 ^/ Z0 droutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.( X X9 n R5 c* D
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction2 t- w" J1 m1 Q. ~8 A) X
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job9 K1 O: I- H' p
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence+ J+ d1 S/ c) y

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review+ O* U* F3 k9 E1 Y
meetings with the furniture management team.
