ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of

' k1 z0 Q6 S5 H2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
- u& m0 r n* E! Jproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
% p+ e, M7 Y: N- ldrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
. M7 h( ?! W2 H, [; B; Wspecification and installation.
' s' l v0 c+ ]3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning2 m1 E. }7 V0 r) T
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these4 e/ h1 G! N: U3 f; `' l

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
: `) [$ {6 O/ x a- p. m( zroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.2 J% s7 @* F5 [) H/ k+ l! Q
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction

site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

meetings with the furniture management team.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

# Y3 W& `- U/ N' PBachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
/ m+ |6 s- B% T0 D6 [/ O) krelated field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
9 a4 n! z: ^" `2 |1 `experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general8 _# N, u0 _! E% Q$ K" H3 ]
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
