PURPOSE:

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of5 h! m+ U" ~2 d: V
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to

2 d0 N$ I0 R4 D. p) n2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
/ ^' a0 Y" y1 d# {8 Y% Q9 Mproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
* t9 u0 u( }% \, S8 R* ddrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for

( C/ @0 x, _8 v3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning' ^* z2 A6 ]: E
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these2 [; D B1 x' w/ B( r1 J5 X

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering4 n2 A: {+ j9 ~7 x( _
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.) L0 f, z0 ?& a
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction

site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence) p7 f0 ^& |- f6 B
checks.

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,' r! ^3 s. O! S; ^
assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes" n" O) V7 q, v# k' g" T! k

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job* G- B; t! d9 o' M% n% K( E
inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
* A$ D2 ~+ R- r9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.
! w9 f y2 {; x5 T! p10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.

meetings with the furniture management team.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a( z2 t5 S' J8 }( C
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
2 G8 c2 u' d: V( y8 Zexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general1 O# S- m5 y5 F# O5 O/ m! l) }! q
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.& b4 b1 C0 ]4 \/ E& B! ^
