Interior Designer

Responsible for activities related to design, space planning, layout, and

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of( k: C$ K& f3 m- l# \
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to0 E" L) A) m3 F
measure layout.
0 }* i, ^. @) ?: A2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
c+ k9 T- c/ P% b/ rproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
4 |3 |* ]0 R* Sdrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for( E" J7 i4 C. U
specification and installation.

meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
- Q+ a, F2 v$ E) f* D- z& r5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
9 ]0 j* ]( @! oplans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job
& r3 c P) z- Y( lsite in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

/ O8 m3 x' L# x: n9 y8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.$ F+ s6 \- T+ s; t0 U
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.+ p( j7 Z, R; a4 x2 Z3 x+ Q
11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review- |& [- W) p5 z' `: j! ~: K

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a- Z$ G3 c4 ^& c' u6 F- H
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
: o. s1 a, c. P# V& c9 d9 n2 U- Gexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general- |+ w _# s# K( ~8 X/ ?
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
