[question] what's advanced test?

My LD passed her test for #5 two yesrs ago, she got a letter yesterday from Alberta transportation licencing to allow her to take an advanced test. looks like she does not have to.
Anybody here knows this test? Any benefit from this test?

Your wife's class5 lincence call Class5 GDL, that means the beginner, can not acommpany with the Class 7 members, and only 8 points. If you pass the advance test , that is Class 5. You have 15 points and can accompany with class7 members.
