X6 o) C, X O `1 ]$ lWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
2 B' _8 B- }2 p% P4 a+ Z* IResponsible for specialization in workstation image management7 s: G# y, i s6 d' q+ e) M
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
; d( \3 x9 Q' L: q; {+ RProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
' g) P* r# E; I0 u( eWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff- K$ q/ T/ x9 m6 Q
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System, I" F6 S& ]8 `" P: J3 F
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP( J% x# P, Q( K9 K( r
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS; @; q6 L1 E" m/ {" _: t% }
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases4 n' H" A g) d( o2 E( ^- y( u
Qualifications
0 b1 ?9 o& ?; c' DTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program( i: f# X6 J7 P0 \% b( e" ?
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
% A5 H$ c5 R. T6 H' Y/ Q2 h- d: SMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations/ X, h$ Q4 A0 M) Y6 {$ e
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
