Duties
" B6 v+ k$ L( a7 LWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
7 z' _# J( c# L' Q  cResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
3 m  e6 m7 k! P4 n: yProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
0 \0 z4 a. x8 }) W- O9 YEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
2 z8 Z2 H, r! F- _0 CDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

8 J: Y  C# v* E  ~  V2 ~* lTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
3 m3 A$ `4 H7 p* T1 m+ PMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
; B7 O% a( h) A) U$ bExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
2 b' t; A  F  n3 _, @4 A) R4 OAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
