Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
: Y+ d; t) a+ d; C# y" iResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
- k# j- b( B; b& Z$ g6 UDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
! I* U" G' n2 NDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
! T# w  ~' m) z8 ?2 l5 ^Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
5 Q5 P* p- F1 IRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
" V; e9 ^1 X, N8 ~1 cMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
* ~' v* h4 Y- @" d, UExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
