- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.5 D% L3 U% D# r" p" w5 O# [. ?
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker4 N4 H, l8 J$ @6 a1 K2 }8 E
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:$ P1 \6 P! e* H" G5 H5 f/ I
- post secondary diploma

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

Job Description
3 ^0 \' O2 d& G& I9 \- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
( a1 x. @; Q" Q- l- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services( D2 G3 q1 Z8 x8 w! W. I% R- {
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
* q( k; y f1 D3 j" l6 F- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies7 g4 c, F- s* O. @
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members" W. A' u# G* o7 E0 w
- update ASSIST website, d6 [* U! Q/ ~. N! E
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre3 l& j. N# e y+ D% O
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services& l+ H" n, n' b: W. e: h x" i
- assist in writing proposal for ISP

- hold regular meetings with ISP team' m8 Q0 w& Q. p: U# Z

- update membership database

Qualifications
, F& P7 k8 H, d& o; V7 b+ S( J- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
9 f7 c/ o: n4 E3 [6 U8 c- good oral and written Chinese and English skills- g) h" n4 E9 t# Y7 N1 }: G
- experience in community work and immigrant services, z1 O" j) W7 m+ L F. k/ j4 K
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
