- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
/ Q0 Y) R- ]" e" V/ f1 j- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
/ n4 S6 P8 U, x6 }/ K; K- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
; `) r/ [1 @0 }. A$ M- post secondary diploma
2 V" i( \$ l. v$ x5 X7 h4 Y0 e- customer service and office clerical experiences
( G; N1 H7 R3 i- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
1 `. S9 Q% h% v1 ?# r& e8 k- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
$ [6 T, i0 r/ [7 Y0 f" z O1 x3 G- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
* f8 Z2 {2 y0 ?8 \( A5 M# \- C& N- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members9 s/ o6 U( L) {+ h) O# v
- update ASSIST website: {9 _' G7 |% }
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
, C5 f1 b0 [& {4 A! E3 M- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services9 S6 e2 s/ V& y) b$ T+ V& ]
- assist in writing proposal for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
2 s+ j" M9 |; J2 U, _- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
4 S/ }5 R. e3 f7 ^- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
4 `5 P1 t A$ j6 [1 J: z- experience in community work and immigrant services
* j8 i, @2 y1 K1 E- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset0 ^- X9 g9 E- M
